The White Balsamic chosen are from white California grapes and aged in oak barrels for 12 months. Our raw, local honey is then added to create a syrupy, fragrant and delicious Balsamic. Wonderful blended into mixed greens with feta and cranberries, poured over salmon and grilled or mixed with your choice of oil to make a wonderful dressing.
Blackberry is very popular within The Good Hive products so we are keeping them coming. We use Modena, Italian balsamic then blended with real blackberry fruit juice then aged. Our honey is added to provide a bit more floral and sweetness. Mix with oil to make your own dressing, add to mixed greens with feta or drizzle over ice cream. Wonderful added to the last few minutes on a pork roast or salmon.
The Flavor Bomb and great for Gut Health! I received schooling on Fermented Garlic Honey from my friend and Microbiologist Tammy from Fermented Delights. Aged over five months to peak flavor and ferment. We use our raw honey, locally grown and Spainish Garlic as well.
Femented garlic not only taste incredible but it provides a bonus to gut health being a slow fermented food. Good for sore throat. Helps to boost the immune system for cold and flu season. May just kill the devil!
Mix into veggies like carrots, drizzle over salmon or over a charcuterie board. Does not require refrigeration. This will become your favorite healthy condiment.
Our favorite way to use is following this recipe:
Cut thinly sliced chicken breast. Stir fry in olive oil add a thin sliced onion. Add snap peas and stir fry for 8-10 minutes. Add 1/4 cup or less soy sauce, salt and papper to taste. Add approx. two tablespoons of the fermented garlic, slice several garlic to smaller pieces, mix and serve immediately.

Local Honey and very Local Tea! What a healthy combination that does not happen often! We searched all over to find and harvest leaves from untouched herb plants that our great grandparents chose and prepared to get through the winter in days past. We picked "June" leaves which carry the most antioxidants before flower or bud bloom. Mullein has been used for many years to help clear the lungs. Add The Good Hive local honey for flavor and you have the most perfect cup of tea. The taste of Pennsylvania. Mullein tea was difficult to find during Covid. Limited Supply.
What is better than combining local honey to local tea? New this year. We worked hard purveying and harvesting Nettle and Mullein leaf found growing untouched throughout Pennsylvania. We picked only June leaves as they are highest in antioxidents before the plant flowers and uses up its enegy. We also found Wild Mint, Elderberry and added Citrus Zest. This is what our ancestors collected and dried to make their teas to get them through the winter. Our grandparents were wise and thrifty but probably didn't realize they were selecting something truly good for them. Do your research on the benefits of Nettle and Mullein. Steep tea bag for 3-5 minutes and add The Good Hive Honey for a touch of sweetness. Truly the taste of Pennsylvania! The best cup of tea. Limited supply.
