TALLOW HONEY FACE CREAM - 4 oz jar
Truly grassroots skincare! In my monthly travels to Lancaster to pick up jars for honey... I frequent certain farms to pick up organic meat and vegetables. Over the years I have made good friends having conversations about honeybees and what their own farms produces. It is here where I was able to purchase, through asking, regenerative organic grass finished tallow. Rendering and purifying the tallow many times over is NOT a fun task but is rewarding once you see the finished product.
Tallow has been used through the ages for natural and healthy skincare. It is loaded with anti-oxidants, Vit A,D E and K and collagen. Using regenerative grass-fed tallow only increases the effects for glowing skin. Changes in color will occur as the cattle graze differently throughout the year. Whipping the tallow creates a creamy consistency which helps absorbability. During warmer months the cream will deflate a bit but is still perfect for use. It is proper to keep at room temp and away from sunlight.
Our honey from our own hives gives the cream an antibacterial boost along with drawing moisture. We also added cucumber extract which not only provides a light natural fragrance but adds Alpha-Hydroxy to reduces redness and skin pigmentation. Finally, snow mushroom complex is slowly being suggested as better than hyaluronic acid for skin plumping and holding in moisture.
A tiny dab is all you need to blend all over face and throat area. Use morning and night time.
