Propolis is a complex sticky substance collected by honeybees as they travel from bud to plant to leaves. This substance contains enzymes and resins that bees use to maintain cleanliness and warmth to the hive. This is used for its antibacterial and antifungal properties. Propolis contains flavinoids, fatty acids, protein and 14 trace minerals.
We, The Good Hive beekeepers, often scrap this hard glue like substance attached to the honey frames and collect. We take these hard granules and blend into a fine powder to increase optimal extraction for two months
.
Ingredients: Locally sourced propolis granules, alcohol.
Directions: Please do the research and what is good for you. Add a few drops directly to back of throat or add drops to honey, juice or in water. Can also be used in wound and skin healing.
Do not use if known allergy to bees or bee products.
