I remember two places as a child that I could not wait for the lilac trees to bloom. Not sure if the Lilacs were actually on the edge of someones property or considered near the road ... but I knew I had to pick them when it came into glory. I remember burying my face into the beautiful dark purple blooms. Can't think about spring with Lilacs. This is a pure single scent of real lilac blooms. Very elegant yet comfortable like an old farmhouse.
