Our up-market candle line uses fine glass jars that can be reused for other purposes once burned. We use more beeswax in the candle blend. Exclusive to the Good Hive website. EARTH is the smell of Petrichor and fresh cut grass. What is Petrichor? It is the definition of the fragrance that is created when the rain falls to earth on warm dry ground. We have all experinced the smell that the ions create when this occurs in that very short time before the ground becomes drenched. A bit a fresh cut grass is added to provide a bit of "green".
